FULFILLMENT FIELD GUIDE

A packing brief that travels

Keep brand presentation and protection attached to the order.

The working checklist.

Put the brief into action.

Use the packing draft to define the component list, materials and instruction version. Keep sample photos and artwork references with the same version before approving the affected quantity.

FROM CHECKLIST TO OPERATION

Define one repeatable packing version

Specify the contents

List the main SKU and every component, accessory and insert. State quantities per parcel and any differences by store, promotion or country.

Record the presentation

Describe the carton or mailer, protective materials, label position and assembly sequence. Link approved sample photos to a named packing version.

Approve before release

Review a completed sample and its recorded packed weight and dimensions. Confirm the materials and work scope before the batch is prepared.

Handle packing changes deliberately

Missing insert or component

Hold the affected order configuration and agree whether to wait, substitute or release with a revised approved brief.

Different packaging material

Review fit, protection and final parcel measurements. Obtain approval for a new version before using it in the batch.

Multiple campaigns

Assign a distinct packing version to each campaign or order group so the correct inserts remain attached to the correct orders.

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

Prepare a rework brief

BEFORE YOUR FIRST BATCH

Confirm the packing version.

Can different orders use custom packaging, inserts or product bundles?

List the main SKU and every component, accessory and insert, with quantities per parcel. Specify the carton or mailer, protective materials, labels and which orders use each version. Review a packing sample and record its approved photos, finished weight and dimensions before the affected batch is prepared. Confirm materials and work charges in advance. Changes to contents, materials or substitutions need a revised approved brief attached to the relevant orders.

PLANNING GUIDANCE

Editorial scope and approvals.

This guide is SINO CEP Insight editorial guidance for preparing an accepted Guangzhou operation.
