Setup & preparation
Where needed, quote SKU mapping, instruction preparation, packing samples and order-file validation as defined setup tasks.
YOUR CHINA 3PL COST STRUCTURE
Share your China supplier, stock and order brief. Separate the handling work, materials, domestic transfers and international shipment costs.

AGREE THE UNIT BEFORE THE RATE
The written quote should identify each charging unit, the work it covers and how completed quantities will be recorded. Rates and any minimum depend on the accepted scope.
Where needed, quote SKU mapping, instruction preparation, packing samples and order-file validation as defined setup tasks.
Specify the storage unit and billing period, stock review frequency and any separately agreed reporting or coordination work.
Agree units such as supplier arrival, carton, item, order, additional order line, finished kit or approved work batch.
If a minimum charge applies, identify the period, which service charges count toward it and how any shortfall is calculated. Clarify whether setup, materials, storage and transport are included or separate.
ILLUSTRATIVE WORKLOAD · NO PUBLISHED RATES
For example: three supplier arrivals, 12 SKUs and 600 expected units, followed by 200 customer orders with one item per order. These are planning quantities, not a customer result or service commitment.
| Work | Quantity to confirm | Quote calculation |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving | 3 supplier arrivals; carton counts to confirm | Accepted receiving quantity × agreed receiving rate |
| Item checks or labels | Agreed sample or affected units from the 600 expected units | Approved work quantity × rate for the specified task |
| Storage | Measured stock footprint and time held | Agreed storage units × billable period × storage rate |
| Order preparation | 200 one-item orders | Order charge × 200; confirm whether the first pick is included |
| Packing & transport | Approved materials; final parcel measurements and routes | Materials and accepted transport charges, with inclusions listed |
Add only the setup, minimum adjustment or additional work stated in the quote. Reconcile the bill against actual completed work and stock records; expected arrivals and order volumes can change.

Send the product and SKU list, supplier arrivals, quantities, carton dimensions, expected storage period, checks and packing needs, order pattern and destinations. Acceptance and any minimum depend on the agreed goods and work scope. Ask the written quote to identify each charging unit, storage basis and period, pick-and-pack inclusions, materials, setup and transport stages. Confirm any minimum charge, separate supplier or third-party costs and additional-work approval rules. Reconcile completed work and stock records against the quote.
