Shopee SLS parcels: connect the seller label to Guangzhou stock

Keep the market, seller order, variant and current parcel label together before a Shopee SLS handover.

By SINO CEP Insight editorial team

The operating rule: release a Shopee parcel against the actual seller market, accepted logistics programme and current label. A supplier delivery, a packed customer order and an accepted logistics handover are separate events.

Start with the seller’s accepted route

A China supplier’s ability to send goods to Guangzhou does not establish that every Shopee order can use the same dispatch route. Confirm the selling market, account and logistics programme before allocating stock. Record the accepted handover point and the current seller instructions for that setup.

Shopee’s SLS label guide applies to sellers using SLS and describes different label requirements by destination. It instructs sellers to use the Seller Center format and keep the logistics reference and barcode clear. Use the current account-issued label rather than copying a sample from another market.

Keep four references connected

  • Seller order: the platform order reference and approved release selection.
  • Product variation: the merchant SKU and the matching Guangzhou stock reference.
  • Physical parcel: the items and quantities actually packed into it.
  • Label version: the current label assigned to that parcel and the instruction it replaces.

The warehouse should be able to trace a packed parcel back to its order and stock allocation. A repeated buyer name is not enough to establish that two orders may be combined. Confirm any proposed consolidation against the actual programme instructions and keep the order relationships visible.

Check the label after packing

Use the approved Seller Center output and verify that it belongs to the correct order and parcel. Compare the market, recipient and logistics references with the release file. Shopee’s guidance describes label-format and print requirements; the packing team also needs a final physical check that the label is readable on the prepared parcel.

Keep barcode areas away from folds or obstructing material. If a label is replaced, identify the superseded version and prevent it from remaining a usable instruction. Do not redraw the required format to make it match a branded box design.

Hold conflicts before the handover

An order with an unresolved variant, replaced label or changed receiving route needs a decision before release. Record the affected quantity, preparation stage and the person who can approve the correction. A revised file should state which earlier instruction it replaces.

Agree the response to a shortage separately from the packing instruction. The merchant should decide whether an accepted split, a delayed release or another action is appropriate under the actual seller setup. The receiving team should not infer a substitution from a similar-looking product.

Return dispatch and receiving evidence separately

A useful return record connects each order to its packed quantities, parcel reference and Guangzhou handover. Keep downstream receiving or scan evidence as a separate field. This prevents a warehouse preparation status from becoming an unsupported claim that the platform’s next stage is complete.

Validate one real sample before enlarging the batch. Agree the file or connection method and who updates the seller account; a documented handover does not imply a live software integration.

See the site’s Shopee operation page, order and tracking handover and approved label corrections. Product acceptance and the selected route require confirmation for the shipment.
